Welcome to the Elite Cricket Centre (ECC), the proud home of Melbourne Cricket Coaching (MCC). where passion, performance and innovation come together. Founded by Prabath Nissanka; former Sri Lankan international fast bowler and Australian Accredited level 3 high-performance coach, together with Ashane Hewawasam; Cricket Victoria Premier Umpire, Australian entrepreneur and lifelong cricket enthusiast, ECC was born from a simple yet powerful vision; to give every cricketer, no matter their age or skill level, the chance to grow, learn and truly enjoy the sport.
What began as a small coaching initiative has evolved into one of Victoria’s leading cricket development centres. Combining Prabath’s elite-level experience with Ashane’s leadership and business expertise, ECC has become a space where innovation, professionalism and genuine community spirit come together to create cricketing magic.
